DATAGROUP Cloud Server (DEAC)

Order

DEAC offers ready-to-use cloud solutions (IaaS) at three sites in Europe:

  1. Riga (Latvia),
  2. Vilnius (Lithuania)
  3. Frankfurt (Germany).

DEAC's public cloud is based on the VMware vSphere 7.0.3 virtualisation platform. The VMware platform is neutral to the guest OS.

You can create a virtual infrastructure of any complexity by using the computing power and storage resources in the DEAC public cloud as an isolated hyper-converged infrastructure.

You can also independently

- create or delete virtual machines and change their configuration;

- enable and disable virtual machines and access their consoles;

- manage the network configuration, load balance, configure access policies and Firewall;

- install and manage system and application software on virtual machines;

- perform other virtual data center management operations.

The main components of the service are:

  1. A virtual data center consisting of the following parameters: processor power (vCPU), RAM (vRAM), disc storage (vHDD), and internal networks. The data center offers the necessary resources for the operation of virtual machines.
  2. The vCloud Director management system, which allows you to receive information about the current state of the virtual data center and manage it.
  3. NSX EDGE virtual router.

The lowest hardware layer of the cloud is built on Dell R640 servers with Intel Gold 6248R processors (with a base clock speed of 3.00 Ghz).

The storage system solution provides N+2 redundancy, meaning that the unlikely simultaneous failure of any two drives does not lead to data loss.
