Datagroup and Volia companies supported the BIGOZBIR initiative from Run Ukraine, becoming a business partner of the project “With Butterflies in the Heart”. As part of this project, donations will be collected for the “Butterfly House” in the “City of Goodness”, which takes care of lonely terminally ill children from all over Ukraine. The goal is to transfer 1,000,000 UAH to the palliative department of the “Butterfly House”.
Run Ukraine company launched BIGOZBIR on July 15. It is designed to cover the needs of Ukrainian funds in an unusual way - through runs. Project participants will take part in sports training, and business partners will convert the kilometers “missed” by participants into donations at the rate of 1 km = 10 UAH, which will be directed to the benefit of certain charitable funds.
Datagroup-Volia is a long-time charity ambassador of the “City of Good” and the “I am the Future of Ukraine” charity foundation. In June of this year alone, the company transferred 1 million UAH to the palliative department of the “City of Good” – “Butterfly House”. The department supports and alleviates the condition of seriously ill children with incurable diagnoses. Now “Butterfly House” is planning to open a department for chronic respiratory conditions as well. It needs professional medical equipment, functional children’s beds, specialized furniture, medicines, consumables, etc. Therefore, new donations thanks to the “With Butterflies in the Heart” running project will help cover some of these needs, and everyone can join in collecting them simply through daily sports training.
To take part in the charity RUNNING RACE for the benefit of the “With Butterflies in the Heart” project, you only need to register and record your runs in the Strava running application. Anyone can join absolutely free of charge, without transferring any funds from themselves. All recorded kilometers will be donated to seriously ill children by Datagroup-Volia. The project will last several months - BIGOZBIR will be officially completed on October 12-13 during the traditional Kyiv Marathon of Indestructibility.
