On February 28, a meeting of iClub was held. That is a club of private investors that invest into global and Ukrainian innovative technology companies. The meeting was held in the office of the international company Innovecs in a special multimedia space InnoHub.
During the meetup TA Ventures team shared the latest business news from the world of technology. In addition, welcoming remarks were made by Alex Lutskyi, Innovecs co-founder and CEO. Special guests of the February meeting were Datagroup CEO Mykhailo Shelemba, Visa’s regional director for CIS & South-Eastern Europe Vera Platonova, and also Imperia Holding CEO Maxim Vitushko.
Mykhailo presented to club members a new company’s service in the field of cyber security DataProtect.
“The main task of DataProtect is on-the-fly counter strategy against threats. Within this service, customers can choose different security modules and services”, – commented Mykhailo Shelemba, Datagroup CEO. At the same time, Mykhailo noted that before providing these services to corporate clients, they started testing them back in 2017. As a result, in 2018 the company completed the audit and received the international certificate ISO/IEC 27001 which certifies compliance with the highest standards of security.
We would like to remind you that the club of private investors iClub investing in the global and Ukrainian innovative technology companies was founded at the end of 2017 at the initiative of the investment Fund TA Ventures. Datagroup for more than a year is the Telecom partner of the club.
iClub invests in both Ukrainian and foreign companies. In particular, in its portfolio there are Azimo, Dreamlines, FinanzCheck, SumUp, Pufetto, Wallapop and others. The meetings of the club are being attended by the owners and the top management of such companies, as TAScombank, VP Capital, Nova Poshta, Terrasoft, Farmak the like.
Traditionally, private investors – members of the club gather once a month for communication and search for new contacts with successful technology companies with the aim of further direct funding together with the fund TA Ventures.
