| Service 0-800 |
The service means provision of a 0-800 phone number and call forwarding from that number to the customer number. By that, for all PSTN subscribers calls on these numbers are free, regardless of region (except for subscribers of mobile service providers).
Calls on 0-800 are paid by the customer having ordered the service. Calls on 0-800 are redirected to customer local numbers. For example, for processing of incoming calls on 0-800 a multichannel (serial) number may be used, i.e. multiple phone lines with a single (common) phone number and specific rules of call distribution among the lines.
Currently, for fixed-line subscribers in Ukraine access to the 0-800 Service is free. For mobile subscribers, the access to 0-800 is charged, and the rate is determined by the subscriber agreement between the mobile service user and the mobile service provider.
In order to process calls from 0-800, customer should have equipment for processing of a planned number of calls. It may be either an analog telephone or special contact center equipment. The only requirement to the equipment is availability of standardized ports for receiving phone calls.
