Wireless Radio Connection Networks

Wireless radio technologies are ideal for primary and secondary telecommunication operators, Internet providers and companies intending to provide IP-based high-quality and high-speed services to individual and corporate users with higher requirements.

Universal MicroMAX and WipLL Connection

Wireless maintenance, as well as MicroMAX and WipLL wireless technologies (by AirSpan) are applied in corporate networking and provision of services for private users. Networks based on these wireless technologies provide a high-speed data transfer between users of a corporate network, as well as access to public networks via standard Ethernet 10/100 BaseTX interface. The equipment operates at the frequency of 1.5GHz.

Due to capabilities of our software, we can provide security when creating virtual private networks (VPN) connecting business units of a company located in different regions.

Users of MicroMAX wireless technologies can benefit from high-speed data access due to the speed of burst mode transfer up to 6 Mbps, which is 120 times higher than modem connection via PSTN. Wireless radio technologies use an available bandwidth of the sector intelligently: the band is assigned only when the data packet becomes available for transfer. MicroMAX OFDM equipment represents the next generation of wireless data transfer equipment and meets the IEEE802.16—2005 standard. Line-of-sight coverage of one MicroMAX base station is 8 km, of one WipLL base station — 10 km.

A MicroMAX station has a several times’ greater bandwidth (6 Mbps) if compared to WipLL (1.5 Mbps) and is capable to ensure non-line-of-sight operation of a subscriber terminal (by way of reflected signal — in this case maximum coverage is 2.5 km).

Besides, the equipment has a number of enhancements in IP traffic processing (UGS, VLAN QoS, ToS, DiffServ, IP source/destination, etc.) and interaction with third-party multimedia devices, which significantly extends the range and increases the quality of the services provided. Capability of MicroMAX equipment to work on the basis of reflected signal enables to deploy subscriber equipment in immediate vicinity of client equipment (PC, switch), thus minimizing problems of outdoor unit installation on the «foreign territory/roof/facade». Besides, an indoor desktop terminal can be used for connection and delivery of the service.

Another feature of MicroMAX equipment should be mentioned: There is no need to pre-configure the subscriber terminal. All services are automatically assigned by the control system upon registration of the terminal in the network.

One of the benefits of wireless technologies is that for the user always a leased channel is provided. Users have only to open their Web browser or launch an e-mail program to be connected to Internet. Wireless radio technologies can also recognize various applications, which enables the operator to provide different classes of services to its customers. MicroMAX and WipLL equipment is able to set priorities for different service types and supports the set quality of service, thus making these systems a great solution for providing such services as image transfer videoconferencing, classic and IP telephony, as well as special customer services. The systems are able to set priority for multimedia packages, so that voice latency and jitters are minimized. IP routing protocols, PPPoE bridge, 802.1Q/p, DHCP relay are supported. Quality of service is based on 802.1, DiffServe/TOS, IP address, protocol, and application.

Privacy is provided by means of authentication, encryption, virtual networks and IP filters based on IP address, protocol, or application. Full transparency of systems for third-party encryption protocols and cryptographic hardware is available. The following service classes are supported: CIR, MIR, at request.
